Brand name of company and journal prestige, nice people, new offices, great content

Cons

Terrible pay for london, very stingy company and benefits for the low ranks, inflexible and old fashioned publishing models, bureaucratic, too many managers, very british and non international hiring and promotions, ratrace for too many qualified editors but few positions

Decent work/ life balance. Lots of opportunity for business travel. Good cafeteria.

Cons

Not very forward thinking, mentality seems to be, "well, it's been done this way for years, so that's the only way to do it." Light on innovation both in products and process.
