Pros

A big company where you can shape your career. Good infrastructure, many meeting rooms, a gym for people who like to work out.

Cons

But these are the only positive things to say... colleagues are very arrogant, unfriendly and hard to communicate with. They are very anti-social and show no emotion. They think they are social by going every Friday to the nearby pub, but when there, they nervously stare at each saying nothing while holding a bottle of beer. Also, management is VERY INCOMPETENT! They have no skills at all! My managers were too lazy to even complete community college and had no knowledge about the content they are supposed to manage at all. All they did was boss and command everyone around and even treat them as slaves. Colleagues in India were almost litterally treated as slaves and joked about behind their backs, saying things like they are stupid and dumb and are like children which you need to treat harsh. ELSEVIER IS EXPLOITING PEOPLE IN INDIA!! Indians are scared to bring this up to their Dutch colleagues, because of losing their job. Yes, you can shape your career at Elsevier... over colleagues' dead bodies. They give absolutely nothing about your well-being!! Yes, you can work out there and at the same time your subordinates are subjected to slavery. Only the people with no skills, but with an arrogant, sociopathic, authorative attitude will make it there
