Pros

Nice PTO and development days helps to foster a healthy work life balance.

Cons

“Competitive market pay based on location” equates to lower pay than the average for your neck of the woods if you live in a HCOL state.

Pros

A nice place to learn and enhance your competencies.

Cons

If you start with low salary, then from a promotion to another one you will get 10% raise, which means a relative increase to a low salary. But this is not the case for only Elsevier it's a matter how corporates work. Just be aware of this when you sign your first contract with them.
