Pros

- dev days allow you to spend a day studying a tech thing that's hopefully relevant to your job. Not PTO, but similar, since no work tasks on that day - it's a corporation, so plenty of places to get help - christmas bonus - great work life balance (I know a professor who is a full time programmer here)

Cons

- pay is average. Not bad though - Tasks are unevenly distributed, so some teams work all day long and others not so much

Pros

Nice colleagues and transparent management

Cons

Elsevier promotes "work life balance" on social media, but this is highly dependent on the team. Some teams (non-IT) are unfortunately always overworked.

Thank you for your review. We are authentic with our narratives on social media and other channels. Over 90% of our people surveyed agreed unequivocally that they enjoy "work-life balance". We encourage you or anyone concerned to feel empowered to speak up to HR and managers or seek assistance from MindLife Group if they feel overworked. We are unified in our efforts to continue building an environment that fosters flexible working, wellness and wellbeing.
