Pros

Many products to offer clients Rewards hard working employees Recent increase in holiday time is a welcome addition Aggressive growth strategy Offices across Europe have had significant investment A good social environment

Cons

The entry level sales role is a hard role, but the same can be said of similar positions in other companies. I believe the company has an unfair reputation on this site of employees that were not able to achieve the targets set for them and are venting.

Thank you for your feedback. We value your comments about our meritocratic environment, and the recent changes to staff benefits in the UK have been well-received. This year we have invested heavily in the company's expansion, including the addition of several brand new office spaces in Poland, Madrid, and Greece. Regarding your comments about our entry-level sales role, it's true that it can be tough, and sales is not for everyone. However, we do reward employees for their hard work as you mentioned, and hitting our sales targets allows us to position ourselves as one of the top 5 Fintech companies in Europe - something we are very proud of.

Pros

I have been in the company for a few years now and have moved between departments. I've also worked in a few offices and I have to say, the people here is great. Ebury started in 2009 with the idea to do something different by helping businesses to make international payments easier. 8 years down the road what started as a small venture has seen a huge expansion now with offices all over Europe, and now looking abroad. I started from a very junior position and I must say, my all managers helped me develop in my career progression immensely. It's a firm with great opportunities to develop and find a career . It's mostly young people in Ebury, so the atmosphere is great and fresh. Overall it's a great firm, going fast and firmly to conquest the payment industry... and the future challenges ahead.

Cons

All young/start-ups have their issues. Communication in the firm didn't use to be the best in the past, but many initiatives have come up like frequent boot camps, a tour of presentations around all offices and team building activities. Happy to see this is improving a lot.

Many thanks for your feedback, we are pleased to hear that you have had a positive experience working with us. In the past few years, we have developed into one of the fastest-growing Fintech companies in Europe, and this means all of our employees have the opportunity to grow with the business. This year, we have exciting plans to expand further across Europe, and we have even bigger ambitions for the future. We appreciate your comments regarding communication - this is something that we are placing significant focus on as we move forward; the training Bootcamps, regular company updates, and encouraging collaboration between teams are just the beginning. Thank you for your encouraging comments.

Pros

Award winning company, very fast paced and exciting. The people who work here are great- best thing about the company really!

Cons

Serious issues with management especially at a senior level. Communication is appalling between departments and management. Issues with bullying in all forms from sexual harassment to name calling. Unrealistic expectations of staff with a startup mindset 8 years later!

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your experience of working with the company and I am glad that you found your work exciting. I am however extremely concerned at your allegation of bullying within our office which the company strongly refutes. During your time with the company, you would have been aware that we continually seek to promote ways of providing a happy, safe and inspiring environment for all employees and we regularly provide workshops and seminars to ensure that there are no instances of bullying and/or harassment in the workplace. If you would like to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to contact myself or our Head of HR on a confidential basis.
