      Pros

      Eaton is truly a first class company. Above all, they treat their employees well and present themselves as extremely ethical. I left the company to start my own business ... if it wasn't for that, I would still be there!

      Cons

      Applying for jobs from outside the company is extremely challenging. They have an extremely high preference for internal candidates.

      Pros

      Great culture, Great people, Good benefits, Great product offering! Good Stock & flow programs. Peachtree City is a nice town. Has a family atmosphere, Your coworkers become lifelong friends.

      Cons

      Every year there are mandatory furloughs, Stopped matching 401k, Talent Management, Retention of managers and engineers. Senior management is disconnected from the average employee. Way behind Acuity on controls strategy & Indoor positioning products.

      Beautiful building does not create beautiful work environment

      Beautiful new building with amenities.

      Cons

      Many managers were "appointed" not by skills. It appeared that it was random appointment or "who you knew". And unfortunately, these managers were awful to work for. They did not understand how to manage people. Very disappointing and the biggest reason I left. I know others that left for the same reason. Our team was very overworked and underappreciated.
