Pros

*Great environment to work with. *Management will come to bat for you when needed during program reviews, etc. *High visibility to senior management types.

Cons

*Regardless of how well you think you do during the year in achieving APEX goals, it is a big time struggle to get anything of a descent merit increase. *I highly question what impact the employee surveys actually have in communicating back with upper management as to how well they are doing. Same responses and feedback year after year with little change seen. *The company is so big, its hard to know the entire product line inside and out.

Not many programs of development for middle aged senior managers Still operates with good old boy executives

Can't move up above team coach or Engineer without being willing to relocate every 2 to 3 years
