Pros

The starting salary is average for entry level engineers. Also, fellow coworkers are easygoing and good people to work with.

Cons

Lack of precedent, unclear ambiguous directions from management, forced corporate policies that don't fit the branch, bad work culture, dilapidated facility, low pay raises, very little vacation and holidays. This branch was recently acquired by Eaton corporation and probably misrepresents the company. Much of the "tribe knowledge" has left the company, leaving a severe lack of precedent to work from. The branch is thus in a stressful rebuilding phase and unfortunately the employees suffer. There is also an overwhelming stench of boiling coolant throughout the facility from the manufacturing plant.

Pros

Growth opportunities, end market growth The aerospace group is the reult of multiple acquisitions over the past 5 years and therefore should be viewed with muhc scketicism. The hydraulics group is the worst of any of the 5 Groups hving been the result of the Vickers Aeroquip acqustion and some other horrile acquisitions over thee past 10 years. Then there is the shining star electricla group whihc has the Westinghouseand C-H brnad pedigree whihc makes it great to work for.

Cons

Inexperienced management. Soul-less brand. Outsourcing fleecing of american mfg jobs. Num ber one goal of sr management is to reue tax rate by setting up Swissco tax structures for Rick Fearon.

Pros

Has grown alot and diversified over the past 5+ years. Decent but shrinking benefits package.

Cons

1. Where are we going from here? I don't know. I wonder if Sandy is beginning to inflate the coinage of Eaton PR and retire on his laurels. 2. Every year you fill out a long and winding employee engagement / satisfaction survey, and every year every plant forms teams to address the poor results, and every year the employee satisfaction gets lower. For the past 10 years at least. 3. Do I dare say it? Trucks, hydraulics, and staple electronics are all dull. Yes, noble ... but dull.
