Pros

At Ernst & Young there is a fascinating culture and support system for growth and career development. The people are top-notch and the experience you gain on the job is world-class.

Cons

Depending on the field on work you are in, travel can be cumbersom. This is part of the industry though- not EY specific.

Pros

- Flexible schedule - People are a bit more laid back than PwC - Great National Tax department with very competent subject matter experts - Opportunity to get a diverse learning experience (you're not pigeonholed).

Cons

The pay is good for the top performers, but they are not a leader in the industry. They seem to be a bit of a follower. I was pleased with my comp this year, but it's hit or miss. It's still public accounting and that means tough hours and high demands.

Pros

Globally accessible. Variety of practice areas.

Cons

Immensely different management styles in different offices. Hierarchy makes it difficult for one's advancement. Round table reviews biased.
