Pros

The building has a workout room and a cafe.

Cons

If you are single, overweight, and unhappy, then this is the place for you! The more mistakes you make, the better promotion you will receive! Harass people all you want, nobody cares. HR and Mgmt are in cahoots. Anything you say can and will be used against you. If you do your job, come to work every day, and are happy with yourself and your life, you will be interrogated and fired.

Pros

Job Security. This is a company that isn't going anywhere. They have a fantastic reputation in the industry and are a worldwide power in Energy. The people who I have worked with in the Houston office are great. My management staff and leadership team has been excellent. Very focused on growing the business, expanding the product offerings we have and becoming more environmentally responsible. The benefits have been really good so far but I hear that is going to change next year and it will not be "as good".

Cons

Human resources. We have policies built in that quite literally encourage our best employees to leave and find work elsewhere. If there is a position internally in the company that you qualify for, they will tell you that because of policy they cant actually pay "you" as much money to do that job. They will limit how much of a raise they give to an internal promotion that is non-negotiable. Then they will turn around and hire someone from outside the company to do the job for a higher Salary than the internal employee was asking for. I have now seen 4 different people leave due this policy. They are leaving and taking similar level positions at competitors for way more money.

Pros

Some of the people are just beautiful hard working trying to eek out a living.

Cons

The leaders SUCK they want people to know there jobs leaders don't know there hand from there foot. Some of the TOXIC PEOPLE make life mesrable and team leads absorb the Poisson and blood and lick it up .unfairness rules human resource has limp noodle for a back bone. Don't trust them to help you ,don't trust your lead or upper management.
