Pros

The managers and team members are really nice people and are doing their best to keep a fun work environment.

Cons

Engie will tell you that we don't have high turnover compared to our competitors and that we are constantly hiring but as a whole Engie Impact has been and continues to be under 50% staffed while still gaining more clients/accounts that only increase our work. There is a massive amount of OT that needs to be done to get even close to caught up. The pay is also laughably low and they just keep telling employees that they are "Constantly looking into and adjusting" but that just isn't happening. Most new hires will actually be paid more than employees in the same position for 3-4 years because once you are hired your pay rate will not increase to reflect the market.

Toxic Environment

Pros

Flexible Hours is pretty much it. However, if you've never worked in an office setting it may appear at first to offer a lot.

Cons

Poorly skilled & poorly educated mgmt created a toxic environment. Peers urged/pressured to spy on each other. At one point on a team of 15 each person had collected dirt on each other. Engie's benefits are inadequate, You're paying to be coverage poor. Excessive work loads, long hours, leadership support/training is nearly nonexistent. They play with title wording to justify low pay. Client Managers are next to useless, and essentially pass their work on to the CR. Upper mgmt and exec team are disconnected from the teams.

Pros

It is a large, well established company so you get to work with big clients.

Cons

The salaries are so low that when they got audited they got in trouble for paying some California employees below minimum wage. They ask you to work insane hours and sacrifice your mental and physical health to do work that is 100% greenwashing for large corporations and then pay you illegally low salaries.
