Pros

Great Company to start at or to stay in the long run. They have a good benefit package. They will provide you with the space and the tools needed to perform.

Cons

They may ask you to do things outside of your skills set. But then again this is a good opportunity to learn.

Pros

Distance and salary, hours of work were flexible. Got a chance to work with and visit brokers. Learnt so much about insurance and its origins. Visited Lloyds building which was really interesting.

Cons

Some managers lacked managerial experience, no real culture, teams are segmented, undergoing change so morale was low, some jobs were uncertain as recently merged with another company.

Pros

There are generally good people in higher level management positions. Ecova has a strong culture of collaboration, sometimes to a fault, but the business is better for it.

Cons

Management practices are sometimes inconsistent from department to department, leading to strong development support for some staff and less for others.
