Pros

this company's environment is something I had not seen before, everyone is so friendly and ready to help you with anything you need.

Cons

work structure is a bit all over the place, i.e. you need to keep asking people where to find certain documents and processes.

Pros

ENGIE operates in many markets so good opportunities to expand experience to other cities' customer's and utilities. Fellow staff in the Norwell office are supportive, engaging, and helpful. Many other positive aspects of the former Opterra's culture was undone when ENGIE took over.

Cons

Little communication between the many smaller companies that ENGIE has acquired over the last few years, despite having major business objectives being dependent on this collaboration. Travel policy implemented recently by ENGIE corporate is inconvenient & reasonable expense reports were regularly send back by corporate. Sales & engineering teams not on the same page resulting in customers receiving free engineering work from us, it is mainly a lighting retrofit focused company that struggles to comprehend mechanical work.
