Pros

They do care about their employees. I do think that their management and leadership courses offered have value.

Cons

Lots of "old guard" and 30 year vets lead the charge, which means innovation and different approaches get stonewalled.

Upper management is somewhat diconnected and most departments are understaffed.

Knows workers' comp insurance and the employees are good people.

Cons

Too many personnel layoffs have resulted in most departments being understaffed. Upper management continues to get +6% salary increases every year, everyone else gets much less.

Great co-workers and immediate supervisor

Cons

Form over substance. Checking boxes at the front end outweighs saving thousands during the life of the claim. Incoming claims volume overwhelming. Uninformed and uncooperative insureds. Work load is usually overwhelming if you believe in doing a quality job.
