      Pros

      People I work with are very supportive and very team orientated. Most people (partner to analyst) always has time to meet and talk with you just about anything - work, personal, music, sports, etc. Most of the people I've met come from quite diverse professional backgrounds and hence can provide multiple perspectives on the work we do.

      Cons

      Partners and senior managers do have favourites - which means that if you don't know how to navigate the politics, your career will progress more slowly compared with the "chosen few". Certain partners are not inspiring, and in some cases exhibit some of the worst leadership qualities imaginable.

      Disappointing for such a big name

      Pros

      Big name, high profile clients, sponsorship of professional exams, competitive benefits package.

      Cons

      Not enough recognition paid to junior people who are actually doing most of the work. Too much office politics. Having unrealistic chargable hours target and have to put in much face time to make an impression. Not having a great support system, assistant managers tend to overcriticise the associates. The apprisal system seems to be a sham, no one take it seriously and it's all coporate talking. HR is not particularly helpful though to do try to make a effort. Certain confidential personal issues have been carelessly mentioned by partners to other colleagues.

      Great network, name recognition, resources

      Cons

      You don't make any money until you reach the partner level. It doesn't seem taking that huge cut in salary for the chance of making partner
