Pros
Work-life balance is really treated as an important feature. Career growth opportunities are readily available. Formal communication of performance occurs twice a year and is relatively simple to understand. Deloitte invests heavily in knowledge transfer and sharing. Training and continuing education are a priority at Deloitte and senior management realizes the importance of training.
Cons
Hoteling aspect and utilization model in some groups. Year end reviews are not really looked at. Utilization is really the only thing that is looked at, which is counterintuitive to building a practice. Time spent on PRD is not treated as time that counts towards utilization.
