      Pros

      Compensation and reputation. Very talented workforce.

      Cons

      Lack of administrative structure. You are assigned a counselor but finding the right answers is up to you. There is a lot of time spent trying to track down the right answer to questions.

      Pros

      Deloitte is a great place to start your career. There is a reason why most accounting and finance positions in the private sector require a few years experience at a big 4 accounting firm. They offer a great deal of training and development opportunities (although, these have been getting cut in recent months) The relationships you build with your peers and clients will likely last your entire career.

      Cons

      There is an unfortunate need to play politics. Relationships with partners is more important than skills and utilization. They have done a whole lot of over-hiring over the past few years and as a result, we are really feeling it in this current recession.
