      Position On Hold due to Management Approval

      Pros

      Fast respond to receive call screening, and the interview session next morning. The recruiter seems friendly and help me a lot

      Cons

      A month after, receive verbal offer and expected to start in 2 weeks, but suddenly got update that the position is placed on hold due to internal considerations. After follow up almost every week, still the same answer, no update from management due to project is not being finalized. What happen actually? Its been 2 months since the verbal offer right now! Feel like betrayed and exhausting

      Pros

      Honestly, the brand name itself has opened a lot of doors for me. The people I work with are smart and most of them are genuinely helpful if you reach out. There's no shortage of learning — between the trainings, certifications they pay for, and the kind of clients you get exposed to, you pick up a lot in a short time. Internal mobility is a real thing too. I've seen people switch teams, industries, even countries without leaving the firm. Benefits are decent, the parental leave is good, and they actually take well-being seriously on paper. If you're someone who likes variety and doesn't want to be stuck doing the same thing every day, this place gives you that.

      Cons

      Work-life balance is hit or miss. Some weeks are fine, other weeks you're online till midnight and back at it by 8. A lot depends on the project and the manager you get stuck with, which feels like a lottery sometimes. The firm is huge, so things move slowly — getting approvals, getting staffed on something good, even basic stuff can take forever. You also have to constantly network internally to get on the right projects, which gets tiring. Pay is okay but not great compared to tech companies or some boutique firms doing similar work. And the "up or out" pressure is real — if you're not moving up on their timeline, you start feeling it.
