The Deloitte life surrounds you and it's hard to get out (the work hard play hard part is with Deloitte colleagues who are awesome, but yet..) - it's easy to get sucked in to all that's going on around you. There is some amount of politics that you have to navigate around, but I'm guessing that's the same at most firms.
