      Pros

      Dell is moving fast and furious towards ITIL, in addition to the acquistion of Perot Systems a few months ago.

      Cons

      At times, we tend to move at Dell speed and do not take the time to properly document standard operational procedures.

      Good benefits Large business - interesting problems to solve and access to a wide variety of tools Staff are normally very professional, energetic Exposure to other cultures - lots of work with overseas team members Room for advancement.

      Cons

      You need to manage your own work-life balance. Dell tries to optimize everything, including getting a good return on the salary they're paying you. Management changes introduce re-orgs on a fairly regular basis. Aggressive offshore cost-shifting can make work hours around conference calls hard on family life
