work hard

Pros

It's definitely an enjoyable place to work, good leadership, you're constantly challenged, you'll learn skills here that you can't get at most places, and essentially be forced to level up in a lot of ways.

Cons

work/life balance is pretty minimal. slack is always on, and teams are pretty understaffed. you'll basically be doing the work of 1.5-2 people with very few tools, so it's a tough place for a lot of people.

Great Cofounders

Pros

Cofounder led = passion and transparency. Growing company with potential IPO. great commissions on right accounts

Cons

Making questionable Sales Culture and risky product direction. Too many management levels with low trust and high inspection. Feels like leadership fears competition. Mixed leadership trying to balance tech reputation/prestige vs profits is questionable strategy

Pros

1. Lovely, smart and open people. 2. Big investment in facilities and events in the office. 3. People do take time off. 4. Feel like you part of a big tech mission and time spent here is something that we will all be thinking about when old. 5. Multicultural.

Cons

1. No investment in supporting functions like HR, Partner, Sales Strategy, Sales Operations etc etc. These teams are completely overstretched and not able to provide exceptional customer service. 2. No desire to actively develop people to move in the organisation. 3. TOP down decision making approach is very strong, getting stronger everyday. Huge levels of standardisation. Voice of employees is not listened to. 4. Out of promotion pay rises are minimal. 5. Heavy meeting culture, no time to do actual work. 6. Working long hours and back to back is normality. 7. Because people are overworked it leads to them somehow only prioritise immediate tasks vs long term or relationship building activities. 8. Intense. Back to back. Forces only a specific type of personality to thrive. 9. Diversity from a company background - lots of people are hired from the same companies again and again especially within specific roles. This has the risk of inheriting other people's bias.
