Pros

* Bunch of really smart, motivated, well-intentioned people * Strong cultural alignment * Massive vision and potential * I don’t know anyone who doesn’t care, who doesn’t work hard, or who is ridiculous. This is a first for me.

Cons

* Inevitable growing pains — building process has been slow in some areas where the company has not invested heavily. * Can be hard to keep pace. I feel empowered to maintain my work life balance but it’s very easy to let it go out the window because I feel like I need to keep up with everything everywhere.

Pros

Company’s culture is deeply rooted in the values of its founders: customer obsession, high talent bar, first principles thinking, etc. Most talented collection of people I have ever worked with. CEO is a generational leader on par with Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, etc. Pay for certain roles is top of market.

Cons

Management believes the private stock is more valuable than it is. Work life balance can be a challenge as the founders are all obsessed with work. Lack of gender diversity.
