Pros

Collaborative leadership style promotes creative thinking. Also the Company seeks out the best and brightest.

Cons

Internal processes cannot keep up with fast pace of business. Lots of platform space for self promotion but tends to be a race for popularity.

Pros

The pace of innovation at Databricks is amazing, as are the people and culture. There are very little politics here. The company isn't so big, so you feel that your work is having an impact. This is the best company that I've worked at, and I've been working in tech for a few decades.

Cons

With the quick pace of change also comes a lot of hard work (although it's rewarding work). Also, Databricks is a start up, so there are processes that still need to be built out or matured - so it takes a growth mentality to thrive here. These aren't really cons, but are things that you need to know if you want to be successful at Databricks.
