Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry that you feel this way. One of our recruiting philosophies is to do our due diligence with anyone we hire. We evaluate each candidate thoroughly. Each candidate meets 4 or more Brick-sters and we require references from every candidate we extend an offer to. Being the start-up that we are, we understand our process is not bullet proof and we can get better. Unfortunately, we're going to have some misses as we develop and grow as a company. We will learn from our mistakes and do our best to not duplicate them.

Pros

The intellectual horse power here is through the roof. We have the smartest and brightest talent in the Valley building a best-of-breed platform that is solving complex big data problems. No one comes in with an ego, no matter how successful they are. People are collaborative and everyone is eager to figure things out. Everyone shares the same passion and excitement to make this an awesome company.

Cons

There is a lot of work to get done, which to me is the fun part!

Pros

Visionary CEO and Founding team with a strong product roadmap

Cons

Ruthless Hire and Fire policy implemented by a few teams in India expecially GDC Professional Services team. Firing is fully discriminated and leadership is favorable and Biased towards a few people. Lot of Regional Bias and horrible culture. You never know who they fire and that too with a couple of week's notice and in some cases a day's notice. CEO insists on strong technical leadership, but a few leaders in India lack basic knowledge on Databricks. They are mastered in Firing ruthlessly. CEO gives high impact technical presentations, while middle management mumble infront of customers or they shield themselves using RSAs. Structured, performance based and unbiased lay off's based on performance are totally fine. Ruthless firing and being favorable to a specific set of people based on region is unbearable. I am writing with bottom of my heart that mid-senior leadership is safe guarding folks from their region and firing potential talent.
