Databricks is the founder of Apache Spark and has some of the best engineers on the planet working on the systems. It has recently acquired MosaicML which will result in the build of a massive Data+AI platform. All other companies are currently playing catch up. A lot to learn, a lot to sell, a lot to gain. Some of the best offers in the market financially.

Cons

You will have to become an expert on the platform very quickly. Highly academic - you will have to keep up with extremely quick changes in the industry. You have to be willing to grow and help the company grow. Competition includes companies and products like Microsoft Fabric, GCP Big Query, AWS SageMaker, etc.
