Pros

A permanent role is just the pros of this company, other mentioned points in job ads are just for marketing!

Cons

Lack of professional behaviour in managers, their flat org chart makes a lot of problems for consultants.

Pros

I joined DWS in 2109, after leaving my previous consultancy company, a mega-large international concern, and it was the best thing I've done. I've worked for a variety of consulting companies as a permanent employee for over 20 years, and I finally feel like I'm "home". My experience is that DWS is customer focused company, where relationships between customer, consultants and company REALLY matter. Get those cornerstones right, and rest will take care of itself. It's cliche, but it's true - I am a person, not a number; The company values me and my effort, I'm not praised a profit centre and derided as a cost centre; and I'm encouraged, and in fact driven, to develop and progress to being the best consultant, professional and person I can be. The pro's of working with DWS: * Work in High Performing teams * Professional and Experienced Consultants work collaboratively * Excellent Back-Office Support for IT, Payroll, HR and Sales teams * Pays Weekly * As mentioned, the company has a Customer/Relationship focus as it's principal concern, not just an eye on the bottom line * Active Social Club & regular company catchups * A great place to work

Cons

Not many that come to mind. Only issue is total dependency on personal devices - own phone, own pc/laptop/tablet, which can be difficult when starting with the company, as I saw with colleague who started same time as me. With salary sacrificing/company discounts not starting until completion of probation period, if you're coming in with nothing, it can be hard to get started, until you end up on client site. There are company PC's for use in the bench area, but depending on how many people are on the bench determines how accessible these are.

Thank you very much for your 5-star review! We are so pleased to hear of your positive experience in moving over to DWS. We do have a BYO device policy, as most people far prefer to use their own device which they are familiar with - and with annual salary sacrificing options, it gives people the chance to regularly update their devices should they choose to.
