Pros

Good office location at Kelenföld Budapest.

Cons

Horrible-Terrible upper management, they don't have a clue how to lead, talking about some central managers and the vice president who is located at Hungary. He is the only reason why this company will never move forward I think here at Budapest. They as Germans have a mentality that no ones wants to tolerate basically. Approximately 60% of the new joiners leaves the company during the probation period. They always telling us that the company moves forward which is basically not true because of the extremely high turnover rate. There's no flexibility regarding home office. If you need to manage something you have to take a day off, there's no appeal. At the same time they are making exceptions with "certain employees" (yes man type of people). The newest new joiners as far as I heard have like 3 month notice period. Congratulate for this! This is how you should manage the turnover rate problem. At the same time they try to make you stay somehow in spite of the unlivable workplace. If you want to take a training they make you sign a study contract including cheapest trainings as well. And last but not least: They don't care about the Covid19 waves at all, the rules that they have created are funny but more likely miserably. The salary is low comparing to other multinational companies at Hungary.

Pros

Free vending machine with drinks (They try to counterbalance the extremely low salary)

Cons

I don't even know where to start. First of all maybe the corona handling. We had to be all days in the office during all the COVID waves without home office opportunity, we were forced to come into the office with no negotiation. If someone was infected the next day like nothing happened everyone was in the office. They even tried to hide if someone was infected "Please keep it confidential we going to manage the case". Regarding the the actual work, chaos management everywhere you look, on the top/central and with middle managers. No one knows what's his actual job, how we can handle the project or how we can achieve something within the project, nothing finished finally. And last and but not least the "improvement time", or as we call it "Horrible time". You should spend this time to improve or invent something which or good for the company, but the problem that no one know what is on the minds of the Germans, so in the end it's a whole struggling. No one knows what we supposed to do in this 4 hours, but they make your bonus dependent on this. And finally they love make us feel their superiority, they have never told it, but everyone feel it "We are Germans, you are just a tiny Hungarian, you should do what I told you to do." I wouldn't mention that the turnover rate is extremely high, every single week at least one person leave the company.
