      Exciting workplace in an open-minded environment in a nice building in Budapest - with minor deficiencies

      Pros

      The company (called Nearshore Center) was only recently founded, so for quite a while of my employment it felt more like a start-up with less than 50 people. Now that more than 130 employees are on board, things have changed - some for the better, some for the worse. Overall, in my opinion it is a great place to work: - Competitive salary (for my position at least) - Lots of areas for personal growth (language classes, interesting projects, improvement time to push topics forward, etc.) - Global corporation allowing for international business trips and collaboration with people from across the globe - Open minded, easy going management that is eager for ideas from the employees - Brand new building close to Kelenföld station in Budapest with nice amenities, such as free drinks, office massages, ergonomic furniture and work material - Young, motivated, ambitious colleagues (most of them)

      Cons

      Sometimes processes are slow, due to dependencies from Headquarters and slow decision-takers. Due to the recent growth, the community feeling is not easy to be maintained with lots of new joiners with different mindsets. Work environment can be quite demanding, as there is lots of initiatives one could participate and engage.

      People are nice but they leave within prox 3-15 months

      About the 3 core managers on top. Worst human beings I have ever seen. Toxic, hateful,mean, gready, incompetent-no positive characteristics for them, tried to see any but none. They act like kings and queens in their little kingdom. Talking down and being passive aggressive with colleagues. If any of the colleagues disagree with them they find the way to still do everything in their way, then get revenge on that colleague, make it impossible for the person to stay. Seen it many times. They have no strategy in business but they are good in this. Question is how they can do this still? After 2 years. @German Dekra Compliance officers, pls, visit the place... This comment been removed previously.
