Pros

Benefits are instant and vacation too. Other plants and facilities that you can possible transfer too.

Cons

No advancement opportunities. Too many lazy people standing around, walking around and talking or playing on their phones. Hard workers are treated very poorly, while the lazy ones are promoted. Ideas and hard work are claimed by others instead of the people that did it. management and leadership team are a joke. Production meetings are 1 hour long talking about sports and whatever instead of work related issues etc. Employees coming in high or drunk or sleeping or eating during work hours. Needless overtime. Takes too long to get employees in and or hired on.

Leadership lacking, slow to move, no walking the talk

Pros

- Established name and brand in most current market segments - Technology roadmap seems promising but too soon to tell - If you like the industry or the function, the job might be meaningful and interesting depending on what team you are part of

Cons

- Core values don't seem that important in practice. One example is the way they treat workforce reduction, people are just a number. I'd been through a reduction with a different company before, and I was treated much better. - Leadership seems lacking, too many managers with one person under. Changes didn't seem to trickle down to actual people's daily activities (in my experience) - Learning can be slow and difficult because there is no official mentoring in place and knowledgeable people are very busy or uninterested in transferring knowledge - Slow to innovate, release new products and implement strategic plans.
