Pros

Growing industry, great group of employees that are dedicated, hard working, skilled and knowledgeable about the product, that are beginning to defect to other businesses.

Cons

Many - aggressive management, more aggressive executives, seems filled with masters degree which makes it hard to break into the upper echelon. Motivation is not present but an overwhelming culture of fear is. Question any decision from above you and you are executed with promptness. VP of OPs is punitive, aggressive and convinced that his way is the only way. Suggestions from employees on the firing line are cast aside. Respect isn't present. Management consists of 'yes men' that act as a tunnel for executives to implement what they want.

Pros

> Work life balance is good

Cons

> Limited career advancement unless you have family connections to management in Columbus > Higher management (new CEO's staff) is good, but middle management is junk > Very high business risk (stock has a beta of 1.95) > Huge compensation discrepancies and no one (manager or HR) is willing to talk about it or address the issues

Pros

When they have a good year the bonuses are good. They try to offer activities for the employees and get them engaged. Once in a while somebody sees the light and actually does something that is beneficial to the employees.

Cons

A large company with a 1960's management attitude. Methodology of the month (TQM,Six Sigma, Kaizen,...) Put a lot of stock in nebulous cost savings realized by Methodology of the month. New ideas are talked about and get no farther - nobody wants to think outside the box and take the challenge of putting things into practice, cause, hey - that might be taking a risk. Go with flow - what gets done is based on who says what, not on whether it has any technical merit or not. People are a commodity - when the business is good hire people left and right; economy is going south - fire at will! No job security unless your buddies are in upper management.
