      Pros

      -Excellent Training program - they offer many different courses -Work Quality - Fun, Interesting, and challenging work most of the time -Friendly, helpful co-workers

      Cons

      -Job security - they have routine layoffs at downturns -Columbus, IN - This is not a place for young professionals. There are no single women under 30 if you are a single male. Be prepared to drive 1 hr, one way to see other young people outside of Cummins. -It takes a long time to get the smallest thing done due -High workload -Performance Reviews - they automatically fire the bottom 10% of the workforce each year

      Pros

      They do pay fairly decent for minimum education. The opportunity to get help with education was nice. The plant is clean and environmentally friendly.

      Cons

      The hiring process is not good when you get reviewed by you team it turns the thing into a popularity contest. I should be who is the best fit for the job not who your friends are.

      Pros

      Good work culture and corporate responsibility. Allows paid community work time every year. Minneapolis is headquarters for Power Generation, so you have room for career growth without having to relocate.

      Cons

      Not enough resources to hit aggressive financial targets. Work life balance is not the best.
