      1.Global exposure 2.Diversity 3. Flexibility to try out new roles every 2 years

      Cons

      1.You have to know people to move up in your career 2.Cyclical business outlook - Hire and fire once every 2 to 3 years 3.Lot of internal politics. Very few managers are good to work with 4.Negotiate a good salary package before you join. Pay raise every year is a joke 5.OEM's are vertically integrating to protect their margins meaning that Cummins will struggle in the near future until truck market picks up

      Laid back atmosphere, free lunch some days.. great company at first with a ton of promise for growth

      Cons

      The men are not held to the same standard as the women. There is no growth. They blow smoke by tell you you are doing a great job but it's never going to get you anywhere.

      Teamwork is encouraged. Written policies made clear to workforce. Businesses throughout the world.

      Cons

      Whereas other companies make job reductions and employee layoffs as a very last resort, Cummins has layoffs more often every few years. Team-based projects are the norm, but there are also too many meetings during the workday. Some functions do not budget for development and training. Not a diverse manufacturer - relies heavily on Engineering and Emissions business. When those tank, the company as a whole tanks, and probably the reason for regular layoffs.
