Pros

Laid back, flexible time-off for emergency engagement.

Cons

Clueless about upcoming technology. Very hostile towards changes, innovations, new ideas. which is an irony because their motivation is excellence by innovation. If you want to survive in this company, don't even think about innovating. Just follow what your managers have planned out for you and improve a bit here and there based on his/her idea. If you try to push your own ideas, prepare to get shunned because your manager then won't get credit. Beware of managers who claim all credits of your work without even mentioning you, but then shift all the blame to you when problems arise. Note: These cons apply only to Columbus, IN headquarter. The branch in Cummins China Investment in Beijing is the complete opposite. Always embracing new ideas and adventurous innovators.

Pros

It is a great company. Great opportunities, flexible hours and Very diverse. The company strives to develop every individual. It pays well in Indiana.

Cons

It is based in Columbus which is a very small town. An individual will get more responsibilities before getting a compensation. Yearly pay increase is small.
