Pros

- Good company to work for if you're looking at good work-life balance - If you're an international student, Cummins might be a gold mine for you as they sponsor work visas and permanent residency for you.

Cons

- Columbus, IN is located in the middle of nowhere and there is nothing much to do if you are a recent college graduate. - Total compensation (TC) is not that great when compared to other OEMs (John Deere, Caterpillar, GM, Ford, FCA etc.). - Less opportunity of changing roles. If you don't like your new role/team you are stuck for a min of 2 years. Depending upon managers, they may not want you to change roles before 3 years. - Work tends be more lethargic due to the slow work-life culture in Cummins. - Every 3 years Cummins go through a lay off cycle. Make sure to be ready for that.
