Pros

- Good ESPP program - Product is excellent - Mission aligned org

Cons

Lleadership has no direction. I was a lower level employee and was asked to do the work of people several layers above me, but wasn't compensated to reflect that. Perhaps my least favorite thing was that they always claimed to be so poor and have no money but would spend millions on nonsense like Superbowl commercials and brag to the market about their free cash flow and rapidly growing ARR. Just garbage. Lots of dinosaurs and the environment is very political. Much of it was a wasteland. Frequent reorgs and whiplash level shifts in priorities for businesses. Its an organization searching for a strategy.

Pros

Benefits, and pay, exposure to impressive technology

Cons

Weak support desk processes and procedures that fail to deliver. Training is reactive, often necessitating on-the-fly support for unfamiliar products. L2 support expectations combine L1 and L2 roles. This means you are expected to be a subject matter expert for a small product segment while still managing new cases, escalating your own cases, handling escalations with T3 and beyond, and answering inbound calls—despite an ineffective phone routing system. The mentality is to take on more cases and do more, creating an extremely stressful environment that can lead to anxiety and depression, requiring medication. Job duties can change abruptly without notice when management decides on a new approach. Leadership lacks direct experience on a support desk.

Pros

Free drinks, snacks and nice sales team

Cons

Upper management (HR and the elitist of Crowdstrike) at this company lacks professionalism and competence, leading to a work environment where they alienate you and make you feel undervalued and unsupported. Despite claims of being a close-knit "family," transparency is lacking, and hidden agendas related to race and culture often result in employees being thrown under the bus. The company prioritizes its external reputation over internal harmony, fostering a competitive atmosphere that neglects employee well-being. Future employees should be aware that the company's industry standing doesn't necessarily reflect its internal culture, which can feel impersonal and unsympathetic. Kinda reminds me of that movie "The Shawshank Redemption," the main character, Andy Dufresne, is treated harshly and coldly by the corrupt prison system despite his innocence.....yikes imagine becoming the very thing you're meant to protect against - Criminals.
