Pros

Its a good brand name and going through acquisition so that we can bring more value to the customers

Cons

1st time Manager lacks the skills to lead the team. There is no synergy working with cross-functional teams and all working on SILOs. As our team is a supporting function, we need a manager who can then work with the stakeholders to align and work towards a common goal. We do not need a manager who is operational and being a messenger. Hence, this has resulted in team members not getting clear directions on where we are going and being micro-managed. We need to have a manager who can take charge of the steering wheels and drive to the end destination and not someone who is just taking instructions from the cross-function teams. He/She needs to know the game plan for the team. It’s like in any games, we need to have strategies to WIN as a team.

Pros

Excellent benefits and compensation package. Industry-leading product with a strong reputation. The company USED to have a strong, supportive culture that made it a great place to work.

Cons

New management caused a sharp decline in SDR team culture. Despite consistent overachievement, performance was often minimized. Team often experienced inappropriate remarks disguised as “jokes” that crossed into racial discrimination, making the workplace uncomfortable. Clear favoritism damaged morale and fairness. Several HR cases were raised, but management/HR did not enforce proper actions and often dismissed the team’s concerns. Management is clearly incompetent, failing to lead with professionalism or fairness. Frequent use of vulgar language in team meetings further eroded respect for leadership.
