Pros

Great learning opportunities and the company has a knack at hiring genuinely kind, nice and interesting people. A great cohort of curious and eager to learn people. Criteo is great for your building your network and and also finding lifelong friends.

Cons

Management is a hit and miss (at least when I was there). The system is to blame here rather than the actual people in management roles. The company didn't empower then in the right way or equip managers to effectively manage their teams. Hard for managers to enable any kind of quick changes. For sales this meant when the going gets tough, everyone felt it and suffered as a result. Company advocated strongly for internal mobility but in practice this wasn't really the case. Prior to covid - work from home was viewed as impossible for most roles.

Thank you for your comment. We are sorry to hear about your management experience. Though management is one of our top priorities, we know it is an area of continuous improvement. We have put a lot of effort over the years to equip our managers with the right knowledge, mindset, and management tools so they can set up each employee for success. To name a few, we launched the Manager Behavior Framework in 2020; an initiative aiming to empower managers by giving them the tools to support and develop their team members. In 2021, we strengthened our IDP (Individual Development Plan) process to continue involving managers in their team members' growth. We also encourage employees to give feedback on their manager through the Annual Manager Performance Survey and to contact their local People Partner to discuss any concerns they might have. Thanks again for sharing your recommendations with us. We will keep it in mind for further improvements.
