Pros

Some of the best people on the planet work here in terms of level of talent and commitment. It's a creative environment where you have lots of room to innovate.

Cons

The top-down, hierarchical structure can be a bit intimidating for some. The vacation time is stingy.

Pros

I learned a tremendous amount at Conde Nast, made lifelong friends and professional contacts, and have the badge of honor that comes with it (you've worked at Conde, or you haven't).

Cons

Management was in a constant state of flux, and I have 4 rounds of senior management - and the countless layoffs that came with - in just 1 year. And, while there are TONS of amazing people within the organization, there are also plenty of high and mighties strolling around who seem to put flash before substance. I had a great run and loved my time there, but I have more crazy stories than I can count!
