Pros

Great resources, strong brands, many growth opportunities.

Cons

Slow to change overall brand strategy and reposition, modernize. Brands compete with sister brands.

Pros

If you're in corporate, you get to work with a lot of different people at a lot of different brands/departments. I enjoyed the diversity of the work and building great relationships with my internal clients.

Cons

Your career advancement depends on who you directly report to and who runs the department. Each department/brand runs like its own company so experiences and growth can vary dramatically based on this model.
