Pros

The company is making a huge investment in digital, and there are opportunities to be in very innovative product teams across its iconic brands. They treat their top employees exceptionally well, and there are many opportunities for growth and movement.

Cons

It has all the challenges of a big company, including some distasteful politics.

Pros

Great, valuable experience and exposure for an undergraduate intern. Editors at all CN magazines seem to be minor social media celebrities, and there's nothing like seeing Anna Wintour walk into the building.

Cons

The program wasn't paid. Of course, that's part of why they had to shut it down.

Pros

Conde produces truly great magazines. You can have a lot of pride working for CN: knowing that you're with some of the best and brightest in the magazine publishing world. If you align yourself with the right boss/publisher, your career can go far at Conde.

Cons

Slow to innovate. Hasn't figured out how to harness/compete with digital yet. The magazines are all little fiefdoms: if you have a good leader (publisher), then it can be a great place to work. If not, better leave quickly because your hair will fall out from the stress and nastiness. Quality of your working days all comes down to who your bosses are.
