Pros

Common Thread Collective is extremely transparent on how they treat their clients and their employees. They want to make sure us as employee's or clients needs are met whether its our dreams and goals or our mental health as those directly impact the outcome of the companies goals. Basically it's the coolest ad agency around and I couldn't imagine working for any other company!!!!

Cons

Honestly I don't think CTC comes with any con's!

Pros

I got my first job when I was 15. Since then, I've worked for many different companies across many different industries. Some did culture really well and most employees seemed happy and fulfilled. At others, employees dreaded coming to work with burn out rampant from the entry level positions to upper management. I’ve been at CTC for just over five months and I feel confident in saying that my time here, so far, has been nothing short of life changing. Both personally and professionally, I’m learning how to dream and believe in what could be possible for my life. I am genuinely excited to come to work everyday and I leave feeling challenged, encouraged, and invested in (usually). When I tell my friends and family about work, I tell them that, honestly, I don't think I'll ever work for a better company or one that's more invested in the people who work there. I quit a full-time management position to be an intern and in hindsight, it looks like one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Cons

From my experience, there have been no cons to working at CTC. That said, I think it's important to note that not everyone will thrive working here. For people that are just looking for a place to clock in and clock out, this may not be the best fit. Being willing to work hard and buying in to the culture and community of CTC is a vital part of being happy here.

Best Working Culture I've Ever Encountered

Pros

Things at Common Thread are not perfect. But the point is that every day, our leaders work to try to make things better. They take action on things that aren't working, are constantly seeking feedback, and are open to trying new things whether in the name of a 'best practice' or 'let's just try this to see whether it might work for what we're doing here.' Specifically, people work hard to make sure that co-workers feel seen, encouraged, and cared for. Every Monday, we share what we're grateful for, whether within the four walls of CTC or not (mostly not). Each Friday, we gather to share 'commendations' for our co-workers - to recognize ways in which they've helped us achieve our goals, complete a work assignment, assist a client, or just generally brightened our day. The benefits are outstanding as well: lots of selection on traditional benefits, plus four weeks of PTO (and three sick days), and the TMYD program, which is unique, effective, and inspiring.

Cons

The only con might be that there are no options for flexible work arrangements. If you want to do the one-off work from home, you're free to do so, but it can't be a regular occurrence.
