Pros

Firstly, I wasn’t asked to write this. I have been at many companies who say they care about people. This one actually does. Diversity is a priority. The smartest people I’ve ever worked with are at this company. There are a lot of people to learn from. We have really smart, savvy, and cool clients. Some of the best connections and mentors you’ll ever meet. The connection with employees in a fully remote company is stronger than what I could have imagined. There is a lot of innovation happening that employees get to contribute to. Slack and Zoom chats are hilarious. There’s a lot of growth potential for internal people. People are getting promoted almost every month. If you work hard and exhibit self-sufficiency, you’ll move forward fast. I’m sure there are more, but let’s get to the part everyone wants to see...

Cons

The company is in hyper growth mode, so there are growing pains and not every process is fully defined or even built. There’s not a lot of extra capacity to dedicate to teaching new people how things work, so people have to learn how to think strategically and ask for help if they need it. It’s sink or swim. There is a whole person dedicated to learning and development and there is an internal learning system that is being built out, but outside of that, you need to be proactive about your own development to excel. There are a lot of employees early in their careers and senior employees are being promoted quickly (not a con), so this leaves a gap in the ability to do exceptional work. The solution is to hire fast enough to meet demand, which management is aware of. New people are being added to the company weekly. Going off the less-seasoned employees con, not everyone takes accountability for their misses. Some people point to imperfect systems or others for the reasons things aren’t going well, but fail to take control of things that are in their immediate sphere of influence. Those who can get out of this mindset move up quickly here. Other reviewers have listed work-life balance as a con, but the company has added a core value around rest and balance. I guess the con here would be that no one is going to hold your hand to create balance in your life (even though there’s a whole TYMD program dedicated to helping employees achieve their dreams). Basically do your job and use your brain to solve your own problems and you’ll do well here.

Pros

CTC Is nothing that I could have ever expected, It’s not a company it’s a community full of lean thinkers and ROAS hackers, it’s full of world class creatives and matrix level buyers, it’s full of black Friday ad grinding sessions and informational workshops that challenge you every day... But where CTC Really separates itself from anything else is what else it’s full of. It’s full of Families and friends that you’ve never met in person but you ask how there mom is doing, It’s full of laughs and drinks with colleagues connected via a screen that makes your whole home feel warm, it’s full of new puppies for some, and new daughters and sons for others that everyone celebrates and welcomes to this world, It’s a melting pot of diversity with wonderful people from all walks of life that makes you feel like you are at Ellis Island in the 20s, This company is beyond anything you could ever expect, and that can be scary... Your first day is the build up on the roller coaster when you hit the top of hill and you look down at what’s to come.. you feel your stomach in knots and you hold on the brake fearing the unknown. Let Go, Go for it. Your life will change.

Cons

If you want to "clock out" when you leave work. This is not the job for you. CTC affects the way you see the world in and outside work.
