Pros

Halfway decent pay and benefits. The benefits dwindle every year where we are paying more and getting less as far as insurance goes.

Cons

I will say that it wasn't always like this. I could only assume that as the company got bigger the employees mattered less and less. I really hate to break it to the corporate big wigs, but the employees are the ones who make money for the company while the execs are the ones who cost the company money. I and a lot of other people used to actually enjoy working at CommScope. Management is fairly incompetent and to a degree unqualified, but then again cronyism is very much alive and well at this company.

Pros

With a good business case, willing to look outside of current businesses for new areas to invest.

Cons

Many of the issues you have with any large company.

Pros

The pros dwindle every moment. The people are the strength of this company yet, the management doesn't get that.

Cons

The management of this company couldn't be more negligent and clueless if they tried at it. Every supervisor who was able to add input has been let go. There is nothing more frustrating than taking pride in a job and trying to improve with a superior who lacks the person skills to understand or listen to the improvements a seasoned employee could add. Long hours and poor healthcare also top the list. Also, 150 positions left to China in 2011 and more will follow
