      Pros

      Few of managers are really good. Team mates are good.

      Cons

      Hopeless work environment. Very unfair practices. No one except for few of them would support you for anything. Got to improve upon training areas. Judgment skills, soft skills. Most of them are unsophisticated to unprofessional in office time with juniors. Should work more upon the employee feedbacks and of course take it seriously sometimes. Most of the employees are frustrated and don't feel like coming to office everyday. So, quite boring also one can say. Also you just get to do only the routine job, nothing new to learn and implement or experiment.

      Pros

      Cognizant has lot of big clients, once a project goes down they take care of relocating to the other states or cities whichever is applicable. As such is good for people dont mind moving between states and cities. Even during the bad times during 2002 when the market was not doing good, the did not send employees out but instead reduced the bonus payments without reducing the basepay. They try their level best to help the couples working with Cognizant, by giving job openings as close as possible. Good resort for the aspirants of US PR.

      Cons

      Before joining negotiate the salary after which it seldom changes. The support group is having less people, which they are working on currently. not sure how it is at this moment. There are times I had to wait for 10 months to get reimbursement settlement. Promotion, Salary will be a big problem for the employees. There are some practices which will be cumbersome.

      Pros

      Financial stability - hard work is not rewarded but mediocrity is ignored. Good work-life balance.

      Cons

      Promotions are often delayed, and there is much ambiguity and very little structure when it comes to moving up the ladder. There is no process for career growth leading to lack motivation across the organization. If you want to be comfortable, stay here. If you want to grow, stay away.
