Pros

The only reason to work here is the discount.

Cons

horrible, strict, uncomfortable, dress code; people (customers and coworkers) are incredibly shallow and self absorbed, management expects you to be a robot and spew their rhetoric, animal cruelty,

Pros

Fun environment, good hours, fun working at shopping center, good discount. Good health benefits.

Cons

Senior management never had anything good to say. No advancement opportunities. Management wants associates to force customers to buy additional items OR ELSE! It's hard to get time off, sales associates (hired by manager) act like kids. The whole store is like a daycare.. There is no such thing as Communication! Apparently you have to be psychic to know what's going on. You have to wear black or gray pants and white button down shirt.. that's all your allowed, when we would go to eat after work, people thought we were the waiters!

Pros

Wonderful discount! Coach is a great brand and lifestyle that millions across America are familiar with. As an Associate Manager you are working under the Store Manager and have the same amount of responsibility as they do. Communication within the store is good, there is a lot of coaching and feedback. You will rarely work over 40 hours (except at Christmas) and the management schedule is made 1 month out so you can plan your life around it. There is always new merchandise coming out so it never gets boring and you can share your enthusiasm with the customers, often times they know about the product as well.

Cons

There are so many blackout dates of when you can not take a vacation (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, all of July, then from November to January and when there is a PCE event, which is a bout every 2-3 months for 1 week) and you are required to work 2 full weekends each month. There are many higher management positions currently filled by old Victoria's Secret people and they are trying to bring in a lot of the ways of Limited brands. When it comes to promotions it is not solely judged on your performance, but also how well you "reach out to senior management" ie: schmooze. Very strict time and attendance policy, 1 minute late= a write up
