Pros

Great retail experience. The company offers some of the best employee benefits ever in retail. Full medical and dental available to part-time employees. Employees are some of the smartest people in the business. Discounts are more than fair. Great customer base.

Cons

Too much micro- management that delays the growth and development of key Sales Associates and Managers. Work-life balance is promoted, not often demonstrated! Store Managers have Limited Real-Life experience and don't relate well to mature employees.

Pros

Discount on products. Not too difficult to move up if you work hard and don't mind acting completely fake and sucking up to the managers at all times.

Cons

Ridiculous number of managers. In a store of about 50 employees, we had 13 managers. You'd do something the way it was taught to you by one manager and another would come along and say it was wrong and to do it their way. We had so many people quit that everybody who stayed didn't get to do the job they were hired to do. Instead, we were doing just about every position but that one. The good managers weren't recognized for their work and also ended up leaving.

Pros

Everyone works together as a team to attain or exceed sales goals, to help problem solve and management is very supportive and is able to motivate without ruling with an iron fist or micromanaging. Upper management is also wonderful. The discounts are amazing.

Cons

The pay is on the lower end of the spectrum but, I always look forward to coming to work so that is ok. No opportunity to advance in company or even get a full time position with benefits. They seem to hire a lot of part-time people versus a few full-time people and I guess from a business stand point I can understand that would be less expensive for the company.
