      Better than other retailers, but still RETAIL

      Pros

      employee discounts, salary, environment. Can't really think of anything else. Money keeps you a slave to retail. You never leave.

      Cons

      no work life balance. Requred to work weekends even if payroll or sales does not merit all managers needing to work every weekend. Very strick "rules" and if you mess up or break one they will just as well let you go.

      Good company but has a long ways to go

      Pros

      The people (not upper management) make the company what it is. Everyone is fairly pleasant to work with on a daily level.

      Cons

      1) The bureaucracy at Coach is becoming distracting. If you know someone (SVP, Sr. Director, etc), you can get a high paying job fairly easily. No interview required. No professionalism is required either as I have witnessed people falling asleep in meetings, coming in exceedingly late, etc. All because they had a friend in a well placed position. 2) No room for advancement. Since Coach is such a large company, everyone is given a narrow task. It's hard to explore and learn about other aspects of the business.

      There is a decent amount of exposure to core business, Direct supervision by mentor, Amazing Learning sessions with Management, Helpful HR

      Cons

      There is unfortunately on a limited amount of tasks interns perform, Hierarchical structure, View contact with upper management, no garantee for permanent position
