Stable and growth company. Good management team. Very broadcast product lines for networking product.

Cons

Becoming too large. Not very successful to build consumer oriented products.

Pros

Saying you work for Cisco. They take care of their employees, lots of perks, lots of interesting classes. They have a lot of money to spend and it definitely shows.

Cons

Communication is sometimes difficult, as it is a very diverse group. Interns don't always have as much leadership as I would like, and a lot of them goof around because they have nothing to do. All the computers given out are Windows laptops, which is annoying when you're developing a Unix system.

Pros

It has an up and coming internship program that seems focused on attracting new hires. If you are able to take part in the Cisco choice program you are given a decent level of flexibility in choosing which group you would like to work for.

Cons

It is a large company and it seems like it would be hard to advance positions. I think this is a characteristic of most tech companies though. I have been told the best way to get a raise or advance is to get a job at another company.
