Pros

Work-life balance is satisfactory, but it greatly depends on the team.

Cons

1. Politics is prevalent in every organization and team. 2. Performance reviews occur twice a year, but bonuses are paid once a year. 3. Stacked ranking is utilized. 4. Every 6 months, depending on the org, 5-20% are placed on PIP/get fired. 5. Stricted RTO policy or gets terminated.

Not Really one of the best places to work…

Pros

Get your skills then leave! Yes the pay is good and the benefits are cool but there’s hundreds of other companies with these same perks and a much healthier work environment.

Cons

Some of their internal programs are more so “hire to fire” so be careful as you may be out of a job with less than a year of experience in the new role. Forced rankings… no matter how well you perform or how super productive you are, you can be rated below strong or inconsistent and your whole job thus forward is in jeopardy. Your manager will most likely be someone who has zero experience in the field with lack of people leadership and self awareness. Get your training and skills then dip…expeditiously!

Pros

Base pay is good 401k matching is great Last Friday of month is invest in yourself day

Cons

*Work life balance will depend on your group. Mine was toxic but others were not *quiet layoffs are used to reduce headcount. You will likely stay if your manager/director like you enough to voice your “value” * you are assessed on a curve and given a score out of 5. Upper management decides how much of the work force should be in each score range. There will always be people marked below average but are actually good at their job. You can be laid off for performance if you fall below average even once. * a lot of c1 employees in upper management spent their entire career there. They likely understand how to play the rating system game well. *It’s hard to move up especially into senior manager or director level roles. *product management here can be more like project management. *company always has open positions because they are always turning people over based on whether they like them or not *Too many leadership and organizational changes. They say it’s normal but I don’t think it’s a good sign *overall not a place for growth or outsiders
