      Well-run company at the top of the house - strategy will keep them out of big trouble in the industry Extremely bright folks work there, making every day intellectually challenging Pay and benefits are very good

      Company has lost some of its "fun" atmosphere and is now more like a stodgy bank Re-orgs happen too frequently

      Good pay and benefits at least

      Cons

      360 reviews guarantee that good work is not rewarded, being a nice guy and getting along is. As long as you give the perception that you're working, you do fine. IT staff is mostly outsourced and treated like serfs; their input is not valued. Ideas are only good if they come from COF corporate employees. Not from employees from acquired companies, not from contractors.

      Expectations of individual performance are very high and are reflected in the quality of work produced. Work environment is highly competitive, magnifying the level of effort given ny associates. Mobility between roles is openly discussed and encouraged.

      Cons

      Highly bureaucratic structure results in excess deliberation over high impact projects creating huge lags in decision making process.
